You can sign up for your online account as soon as you’ve enrolled in an aetna international plan or your employer has added you to the company plan. The entire registration process will take less than five minutes.

register at the health center to use our smart tools. through the health center, you can find health care providers, submit or track a claim, access your plan documentation, or find support for everyday health and wellness concerns or to coordinate care.
As a primary plan member (also known as a primary policyholder), you can ask your employer, or sales consultant, if you’re a self-pay member, for your unique membership number.
You’ll also find your unique membership number on the back of your aetna international member ID card, which you’ll receive in the mail. You can also find your membership number at the top of any email correspondence we send you.
The primary plan member can use this membership number to sign up for a health center account before the plan starts or renews. however, the services available within the health center will be limited until the term of the policy has begun.

For security purposes, the email address you use to register with the health center must be unique to you. couples or family members may not share an email address or use the same email addresses to register more than once.
complete the registration form and click “start”. Help tips are available – just hover over the purple question marks and they’ll appear.
select your plan type; you can find it on your member ID card.
Once you have completed the first step in activating your account, you will receive a validation email. Click the link in the email to complete your account setup. the link will be valid for 24 hours, after which you will need to re-register.

If you do not receive an email, please verify that the email address you provided is correct, and if so, check your email spam or junk folder.
Finally, set a password, enter a contact mobile phone number and click ‘register’. click ‘go to my account’, where you will be taken to your health center’s login page.
once the primary member has signed up, you can find the unique membership numbers for any family members in the plan on the certificate of insurance. this is stored in the ‘plan & health center details section.
once you have found the membership numbers of your family members, they can also register at the health center, as long as they are over 18 years of age. in most cases, dependents over the age of 18 will need to give you permission. to access your health center accounts and manage claims on your behalf. may grant permission during the “manage your policyholders” step of their initial check-in process at the health center. The primary plan holder is the only person who can manage information regarding dependents under the age of 18.
In order to have all the functions of the health center at your fingertips, it is easy to access the health center from a mobile phone or tablet. you can also download our ‘international mobile assistant’ app to your mobile. go to app store or google play to download the app. You will need to register with the health center before you can submit claims through the app.
